RT-JSA-VTG-213A JSA Coil Carriers VTG Twin Pack A

RT-JSA-VTG-213A JSA Coil Carriers VTG Twin Pack A

Expected Delivery Summer 2026 (Subject to Change at Manufacturer's Discretion).

In 1996 a batch of iron-ore tipplers were rebuilt by Marcroft Engineering for use by British Steel's Strip Products division carrying steel coil between Shotton and Llanwern - these wagons became JSA coil carriers. The source wagons were a mixture of inner and outer wagons but all gained conventional drawgear at each end.

All the JSAs were initially painted blue with British Steel branding.  From 2003/4 the JSA coil carriers had the blue steel hoods replaced with lighter aluminium/composite hoods and were re-branded to reflect the change in ownership to VTG.

Twin pack of different numbered wagons: VTG4064 and VTG4022.
