KISS of the CFL
The CFL (Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois) ordered a total of eight Stadler KISS in 2010, which were only used as RE11 in December 2014 in traffic between Luxembourg Ville and Koblenz. The 2-car units even sometimes run in multiple traction with the single-deck FLIRTs of DB Regio Südwest - which is unique in Europe in this combination. The CFL-KISS are equipped with both the PZB 90 train control system commonly used in Germany and the ETCS Level 1 used in Luxembourg. In 2017, Stadler delivered another eleven 3-car KISS to the CFL.
