It will be the 90th anniversary of the Gresford mining disaster this year and to commemorate those that died, Dapol are producing a wagon to raise funds to help support the Wrexham Miners Project, a local charity that helps maintain the local heritage and support the community. You can learn more about the group by visiting their website The Wrexham Miners Project . A total of 266 OO Gauge wagons and 266 O Gauge wagons will be produced, one for each victim of the disaster, a donation will be made for each wagon sold.
Each wagon will come with a numbered certificate, (certificate Number 1-266)
The Dapol O gauge Five Plank Wagon Features:
- Diecast Chassis
- Compensation beam for smooth running
- Injection moulded body and detail parts
- Sprung metal buffers
- Sprung couplings
- Externally braced
- Diecast open spoke wheels with blackened steel tyres. Wheels suitable for fine standard track

- Axle boxes and brake shoes embossed with the word âGloucesterâ
